| Connor throws both 2 seam and 4 seam fastballs. Connor’s 2 seam fastball sinks and moves late when it is thrown to his arm side with consistency. Connor has been working on creating downward plane on the fastball and he has really started to be able to repeat his mechanics to be able to be consistent. Connor creates above average rotation on the baseball with all his pitches and he has a quick arm. Connor’s command has been and issue in game situation from time to time but when he throws his bullpens in practice really shows some above average command. Connor has a more compact body but still is able to create downward plane and he is above average as far as strength. Connor throws the baseball with ease and minimal effort and if he can maintain tilt on his pitches he will have success and velocity should increase over the next few years. | |||

| Connor spins the ball with above average rotation and gets a tight break on the baseball. The baseball reacts with a darting action and with no arcing in the flight of the baseball but it is not consistent yet. Connor gets on top of the baseball which creates a downward action and a break on 2 planes most of the time but he can get on the side of the baseball and create a top spinning effect which is what he is working on correcting. Connor’s curveball is the type of pitch where it will miss bats and is above average for a high school pitcher. Connor uses a 4 seam grip when he throws the curveball which gives the baseball more bit in flight and late. | |||

| Connor has 3 Finger change - up that has developed into his third pitch. Connor's arm action stays consistent with the other pitches and command is average right now. Connor creates good downward tilt on this pitch and the ball sinks and fades when it is thrown for strikes. Connor gets on top of the baseball which creates a downward action but the same as is other pitches he can get on the side of the baseball and create a top spinning effect which is what should be corrected by the fall of 2009. | |||

| Connor is very smooth in his delivery and has some agility and athletic abilities that help him make adjustments and look projectable. Connor’s arm is quick and he has made some gains as far as velocity but he needs to translate that into game more often in the spring. Connor stays healthy and from video, bullpen and game action feedback if he keeps the effort level up in his delivery he is effective because his mechanics and arm action are above average. | |||
| Connor uses his lower half really well and can generate a lot of power and the arms works well. Connor is fairly sound mechanically and just needs to work on taking it into the game to be effective. Connor has been in the baseball academy program for 4 years and is not afraid of the weight room and doing the extra – work needed to get stronger and more powerful. Connor will probably have to be a pitcher that starts in the bullpen to get his innings and should work into a starting role when command of all three pitches are more consistent. That being said, Connor knows what he has to do on and off the mound and he needs to apply that more often in game and practice situations. Connor had some flashes of being really good in the fall season and had starts and relief appearances against American High School teams and Canadian College programs. Connor has potential to be a really good College player and if he puts his mind to it he can be there and compliment any College program. |
