| Chris has good lateral movement and his reads on balls low in the zone is good. His foot work is improving as he starts to understand the importance to gain ground towards his target rather than rely on arm strength. Chris's direction of movement is good when he blocks balls and then needs to throw to either 1st or 3rd. Pitchers have confidence with Chris, they realize that he will block balls when they don't execute their pitch correctly. Chris has a very strong arm that seems to get better evrey month | |||||

| Chris has very quick hands. He makes good, consistent contact with the inside pitch. Chris takes pride in making himself a complete hitter and has developed his swing and approach to be consistent with the middle-out pitch. He allows the pitch to travel to the back of the hitting zone now. He has a nice hitting foundation now and with further development, projects to hit with power to all fields. | |||

| Chris has a good work ethic, he trains hard in the weight room as well as on the practice field. During games he trys to take what he's being taught and implement it right away into the game. Chris has played high school football and basketball at the varsity level. These sports have helped with his athletic ability, mostly conditioning and foot speed. He is a strong guy and projects very well moving forward into the college ranks. Chris is a natural leader that makes his teammates better by leading by example. He is also a quality 3rd basemen and has seen some time at 1st. |
