| Taylor has an above average high school fastball and well above average fastball for a LHP. In the last 2 months he has shown a very positive improvement in FB command and is able to throw quality strikes on a regular basis. Taylor throws the ball well to both sides of the plate with some arm side sink in to LHH and some late cut action away to LHH. Taylor's FB comes out of his hand with ease and now that his command has increase I believe the velocity will again follow. The only time Taylor gets into trouble once he is tired or begins to over throw his FB elevates and becomes hittable. I expect Taylor to pitch with a mid eighties or above fastball by the time he enters college. |

| Taylor has a very good breaking ball for the high school level. His curve ball has 11/5 spin that has a tight - late rotation that is becoming a definite out pitch. He needs to continue to work on throwing the pitch in various counts with confidence. Overall, Taylor spins the ball very well for the the high school level and his breaking ball has good depth that will become an above average pitch in college. | |||

| Taylor throws a circle change - up that is improving on a weekly basis. His change-up is fairly straight that at times has some arm side sink. Taylor has enough velocity on his FB that throwing his change-up typically speeds up high school bats. The change-up is clearly Taylor's 3rd pitch but I do believe it will become a college average pitch. | |||

| Taylor has come along with his control. Beginning this fall he has learned to locate his FB to both sides and the ability to pitch to contact with location. His overall command is getting better each outing most likely it relates directly to his delivery getting better and becoming more consistent. Taylor has a simple delivery that he works on very hard to repeat daily. At times he has some extra movement with his lead leg which creates inconsistencies with his release point. Continued repetition should fix this problem. Taylor has a loose/easy arm action that projects very well. Taylor does pick the ball straight out of his glove but it doesn't seem to affect his velocity or control. Overall his overall delivery should continue to improve as he matures but he has a tremendous foundation to build off of. | |||
| Overall, Taylor has a very bright future. He is a tremendous student and is gifted in the classroom. He is very driven and disciplined in his approach both on and off the field. Taylor does not take any shortcuts on or off the field and if there is a negative knock it would be he needs to enjoy the process of developing his baseball skills. Taylor will be a very successful student-athlete in most college baseball programs. |
