| Mitch's fastball has improved over the past year. He has developed good command of it and at times can pin point this pitch. Mitch throws a 4 seam fastball and is working on his 2 seam to see if he can add movement to his fastball. | |||

| Mitch throws a curveball that tends to break from 2 to 7. At times his hand position is on the side of the ball instead of on top which causes his breaking ball to have a more rounded break. Mitch's focus this winter will be to stay on top of this pitch since he realizes sharper 12/6 break is better. He has tight rotation which is attributed to his strong grip. Once Mitch gains consistency with his finger position he will have a quality curveball that will add to his success at the college level. | |||

| Mitch throws a change up that has good movement downwards and at time in to RHH. The speed can be a little too hard at times but with work on it this winter his speed should become more consistent in the range that will compliment his fastball. This is a pitch that is comfortable for Mitch to throw and he has demonstrated that he can throw it for strikes. | |||

| Although a work in progress, this pitch has more of a slider break and speed right now. I have seen more consistentcy in a short period of time which could be attributed to Mitch's natural arm slot and wrist position. Depending on the development of his curveball this could be his new breaking ball that he will take to the college level. | |||

| Mitch's arm action is improving. In one year he has come a long way with extending his rotation. He was a short arm pitcher and has focused on extending his arm on the backside. Mitch understands he needs to keep working on this aspect to help him with velocity and accuracy. As Mitch continues to correct his mechanics mixed with his physical strength he will be an effective college level pitcher. | |||

| Mitch has physical tools that will benefit him moving forward. His all round strength will help him succeed as he develops his mechanics. I have found Mitch to be a coachable player who takes in the instruction given to him and tries to implement it into his game. |
