My name is Devin Williams and I have been playing baseball since the age of four. I started with Sunridge Little League and at the age of ten, progressed to a more elite level of baseball. I
started playing with Baseball Calgary in which we play against teams throughout the Province of Alberta for a chance to compete at a National Championship. In 2004, my team won Provincials and a Bronze medal at National Championships in Summerside, PEI. In both 2005 and 2008, we earned a spot and hosted Western Canada Baseball Championships. I have continued to play at a AAA level with Baseball Calgary through to the 2009 season.
While growing up, I also enjoyed playing football and soccer, but always returned to baseball.
To further my baseball career, I enrolled in the National Sport Academy where I am coached and mentored by Chris Reitsma, a former MLB pitcher and Jim Lawson, owner/coach of Pro Baseball Force. I have started to emerge as a pitcher over the last 2-3 seasons and I am currently training with ProBaseball Force(PBF) - www.probaseballforce.net, with focus on improving my pitching mechanics and velocity as well as core strength training and fitness.
My goal is to play baseball to the highest level and obtain a College and/or University education.
